How Do I Connect with Others & Serve?

New Life Baptist Church is a place for you to become part of a family on mission for God. Every follower of Jesus is called to believe, belongand to serve. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, a farmer, or a businessman, we want you to be a part of our church family. Here is how you can Worship, Grow, Serve, and Reach at New Life Baptist Church.
Sunday School
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn than larger groups are. For that reason, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. The Sunday School Ministry of New Life Baptist Church exists to Love God, Love Others and Serve the World by Inviting, Discovering and Connecting. Each Sunday School group exists to Invite People into a relationship with God and others. Furthermore, each group seeks to Discover and apply the truth of God’s word and connect to one another in a praying, caring and sharing community.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry of New Life Baptist Church is for students in 7th-12th grade. The Youth meet regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:00PM. This is a time of fellowship, worship, prayer, bible study and learning thru games and other activities. Our youth love to be on mission for Jesus and serve each month at Grace Community Ministries by preparing food for distribution. The Youth of New Life Baptist also participate in World Changers ministries annually and learn to love and serve God by being His hands and feet in this world.

Children’s Ministry

From our nursery all the way to 6th grade, the children’s ministry exists to instill biblical gospel-centered truths into the lives of each child. At New Life, we love children and desire to seeeach child become a follower of Jesus. At New Life, we love for children to be with their parents during worship. In this way, children are exposed to the beauty of corporate worship and learn how to listen to sermons and participate in worship with the church family. However, we also provide on Sunday morning at New Life a nursery for children birth – 2yrs of age. We also provide an optional Children’s Church for children from 3yrs – 2nd grade.  During this time babies and toddlers are loved and cared for and children learn the bible and how the church worships together. On the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7PM, children participate in Bible Buddies and Bible Drill along with a time of singing. This emphasizes scripture memorization and the locations of books of the Bible. The other Wednesday evenings children learn about God’s work in the world through missions during Mission Friends, RA’s and GA’s.
Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. We strive as a church to offer multiple opportunities for you to serve the Lord by serving others.

Grace Community Ministry

Our church partners with Grace Community Church in Adel for a monthly ministry that consists of food distribution as well as other material needs for those who are hurting in our community. This ministry takes place the 3rd Tuesday evening of each month from 5-7PM.
Women’s Ministry
The women of New Life love to serve! The women’s ministry offers an opportunity for women to be involved in missions projects locally and globally thru cooperative efforts thru l
ocal associations of churches and Georgia and Southern Baptist Conventions.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty.  We have prayer times throughout the week. Our men meet at 6am each Thursday morning in the Worship Center  for a time of discipleship and prayer. Each Sunday morning everyone is invited for a time of prayer at 9am in the Worship Center. We also have focused times of prayer each Wednesday Evening at 7pm.
